YouTube Vanced and ReVanced are Android-only. Any website offering a “Vanced IPA” or asking you to install a profile or pay for an iOS version is not the real thing.
Why there is no Vanced for iPhone
Vanced works by modifying the Android APK. iOS apps are encrypted and can only be installed from the App Store, unless you sideload them with a developer certificate. That makes an iOS version much harder to build and to keep installed.
Your options on iPhone and iPad
1. Tweaked YouTube (uYou / uYouEnhanced)
Community projects such as uYouEnhanced inject tweaks into the official YouTube app: no ads, background playback, downloads and more. You install the resulting IPA with a sideloading tool such as AltStore or Sideloadly. With a free Apple ID the app has to be refreshed every 7 days.
2. A browser with content blocking
Watching YouTube in Safari with a content blocker (or a privacy browser) removes most ads and, in many cases, lets audio continue when you lock the screen. No sideloading needed.
3. YouTube Premium
The only official way to get ad-free videos and background play on iOS.
How to sideload a tweaked YouTube IPA (overview)
- Install AltStore (or Sideloadly) on your computer and your iPhone.
- Get the tweaked YouTube IPA from the project’s official release page.
- Open the IPA with AltStore and sign in with your Apple ID.
- On the iPhone, trust the certificate under Settings → General → VPN & Device Management.
- Refresh the app in AltStore at least every 7 days.
